Routes Map

We have identified several possible routes through the project area that you may take. Let us know which of these match your use of Tremont Street, or if there are other places you go to and from, we'd like to know about it! Use the interactive map to show us where you bike or walk to and from.

Tremont Street Multimodal Improvements

Increasing safety and comfort for people biking, rolling, and walking in Port Orchard

What options are being considered for Tremont Street?

What is the Tremont Street Project?

The Tremont Street Multimodal Improvements project will improve bike and pedestrian facilities along Tremont Street between Port Orchard Boulevard and Sidney Avenue. The project may include improvements on Sidney Avenue between Lippert Drive and Melcher Street. The City of Port Orchard seeks to create a multimodal transportation connection that accommodates local cyclists’ abilities, confidence, and comfort levels.

The project advances the City’s long-term vision for delivering significant active transportation improvements within the City of Port Orchard.

What do we need from you?

The first step to developing the project is to understand how cyclists and pedestrians use Tremont Street today and gather feedback about desired future routes. The City invites the community to provide input regarding design options and facility types within the project area.

The responses will be tabulated and analyzed to determine which designs are most preferred by the community. This feedback will influence the selection of design options as the project moves forward.
